Network Expansion Coming

20/20 Communications will begin expanding the Wireless Washtenaw network over the next several weeks. Negotiations are in the final stages for network expansion around the Pleasant Lake area in Freedom Township. They are also in negotiations with eleven other private entities across Washtenaw County, including discussions with DTE (ITC) for access to the high-voltage towers that traverse the county. This activity reflects the beginning stages of asset acquisition for 20/20 Communications as they look to further deploy services in the rural communities.

Expansion in the Ann Arbor community is expected to begin in late spring, starting with a select number of parks and gradually expanding to include commercial and residential households. 20/20 Communications is working closely with representatives from the City of Ann Arbor to plan this deployment.
