Pre-Proposal Conference A Success!

The project team is pleased to report the success of the Wireless Washtenaw Pre-Proposal Conference that was held the morning of Wednesday, December 14, 2005. The purpose of the conference was to discuss key milestones and timelines with the project's private sector partners, while also answering questions around the Request for Proposal.  The conference was attended by members of the Steering Committee and 17 private sector providers that are responding to RFP #6244.

The most notable outcome of this meeting was the extension of the RFP due date. The Steering Committee approved the extension at the request of the private sector providers. The two week extension will allow for further collaboration among the providers, while also accommodating the approaching holiday schedule. The  Wireless Washtenaw RFP due date is now January 30, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
